The Beginning —

A Yuzu Journey from Japan

 

 

Our yuzu story began in 2006, when yuzu trees were introduced from Japan and brought to Yueyang, China. Since then, we have remained dedicated to cultivating and developing authentic yuzu, building our own cultivation base and gradually establishing an integrated yuzu industry from farming and harvesting to processing and product development. What began with a small number of Japanese-origin trees has grown into a long-term commitment to preserving the distinctive characteristics of yuzu.

The Foundation of Authenticity

 

 

The foundation of authentic yuzu begins with the tree itself. Our yuzu trees were introduced from Japan and cultivated from Japanese-origin seedlings. Through grafting onto established trifoliate orange root systems, we strive to preserve the original characteristics of the trees and maintain the distinctive aroma and flavor profile of yuzu. Rather than pursuing rapid growth or short-term yields, we believe that authentic flavor is built through careful cultivation and time.

Some of our yuzu trees have now reached 20 years of age.Over decades of cultivation, we have continued to refine our understanding of the fruit. Mature trees, careful cultivation and responsible harvesting help us preserve the natural aroma and distinctive character that make yuzu unique.
